Audio Adrenaline is:
Tyler Burkum Tyler Burkum
was not an original member of Audio Adrenaline, when they first got their start hailing from Kentucky Christian College in Grayson, KY. Tyler's first appearance was as a backup singer on AA's album Some Kind of Zombie.
Tyler adds to the sound of Audio Adrenaline by playing the guitar and providing background vocals for Mark Stuart.
Ben Cissell Also, Ben Cissell was not a charter member of AudioA,
but when he joined the group in early 1996, just five days before Bloom was released. he was welcomed with a Christian embrace and treated like he had been there for years.
Ben Cissell provides all the funky percussion and drum sounds so prevelent in the band. Cissell, a talent of his own, has been
part of the writing and producing team of the lyrics of AA's latest albums, as well as the music.
Bob Herdman Bob Herdman is a man of many talents; his current efforts being founder and webmaster of FlickerRecords.Com,
AudioA's new record label, who backs artists such as Pillar, Blindside, and Riley
Armstrong. A part of the band since it's beginning, Bob has left being "on the road" with Audio Adrenaline for their past two albums to put his time into running Flicker and to his newborn child. But, don't fret, folks,
he's still a part of the band!
Will McGinniss Will McGinniss, affectionately called "Billy" by his closest friends, family, and biggest fans, plays bass guitar for AA, and has been in the band since
it's debut in 1992. He grew up in Kentucky and attended KCC as a youth, where he met Mark Stuart, and AA was born. Webmasters Note: My former pastor was Will's youth pastor way back in the day, as it were.
Mark Stuart Mark Stuart, lead singer for Audio Adrenaline, is the one you can hear singing away his praises to God with "30,000 watts of audio energy" backing him up.
Mark's wacky hairstyles have been known to turn a few heads; but seemingly
in the last few years, it's been Will with the crazy hairstyles*,
taking the attention from Mark with his latest being the mohawk that can be seen on the cover of Worldwide in his silouhette. But, wacky hairstyles or not, he is still a God-fearing "church punk"
with a world view for evangelizing and reaching the entire world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The band, as a whole Five guys from the Heartland of America came together for one common reason, to reach everyone everywhere with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For 12
years they have accomplished that task. They have a world vision; using the ideals of 2 Peter 3:9 and "not willing that any should perish." What makes AA unique is that they do it using the basis of rock and roll, reaching a
whole new contemporary generation with music that speaks their language, has their beat, and brings a centuries-old message to the forefront.
